How klickTab works
klickTab works on the familiar model of a bar tab. In a modern American bar (customs differ from country to country), we can establish a tab at the beginning of the evening by leaving a credit card with the establishment. During the evening our purchases are not charged immediately, instead they are added to the tab. At the end of the evening, the tab is "closed out" and a single charge processed to the credit card.
klickTab works the same way. Once you establish a klickTab account using a credit card, your purchases of digital content are added to your tab until the end of a billing period, or preset limit, are reached. The tab is then charged to the credit card and a new tab opened automatically.
There's no need to purchase "some other currency" or "points" that you can only spend at selected sites. With klickTab you use your regular credit card, but with the convenience of a klickTab tab.
Subscribing to a klickTab-powered Channel feed (or any Open Television Network feed) off a website is as simple as clicking on the klickTab button when you see it on a website. You will be prompted for your email address and password and then given the choice of subscribing in iTunes, Miro or another piece of software. You can see how easy it is in this video how-to demonstration How to subscribe to a Channel feed.
