Download and Refunds Policy

Important:

When you subscribe to a channel feed - either preprogrammed or custom - you are presented with a screen to accept responsibility for content purchased through that feed. Once subscribed you are responsible for all content downloaded through that custom feed. If you share the feed with others, you will be charged for the content they download.

Content purchased from Open Television Network will be downloaded to your "Podcatcher" software, not through your web browser. We recommend, and directly support Apple's iTunes for OS X and Windows, or Participatory Culture Foundation's Miro for OS X, Windows and Linux. Other podcatcher software that supports the RSS 2.0 standard for RSS feeds with enclosures will most likely work with Open Television Network feeds or channels.

Content is not downloaded to your normal downloads folder, so be aware that you will need to access the purchased content through your podcatcher software.

Content may be downloaded within a 24 hour window to the same IP address. If you cannot successfully download the content within that time, please contact us.

Note: Content is not downloaded from the Open Television Network server. Content comes directly from the content owner's server. Open Television Network will inform content owners of problems downloading their content and credit a customer if content cannot be satisfactorily downloaded within the 24 hour window.

Lost Content

We strongly recommend that you provide your own backups of all data you wish to retain, including the content downloaded through the Open Television Network. However, if you have suffered a catastrophic loss of data, through loss of a hard drive for example, please contact us and, where we can, we will arrange for a repeat download.

Note: Open Television Network, Inc. cannot guarantee that all content will be available in the case of loss, and makes no guarantee that the content you have purchased will be available after data loss at the customer end. We guarantee that you will be able to download your purchase initially, or will refund the purchase price. We do not guarantee that content will be available at a future time when you may incur data loss. No refunds will be given for content lost from a customer's computer.
