Terms of Service - Viewers
Open Television Network is an open network and we hope you find what you're looking for within the diverse programming choices offered in the network. Please carefully review the following terms of service.
You are obligated to pay for the content you download. Your first $5 worth of programming is free, so it might be a while before your credit card gets charged. We keep a record of all the outstanding item charges and process the charge to your credit card once it reaches a preset limit. If you're a light user of the network, it's possible it could be a month or more before you see any charge from us on your credit card. That's why you are required to use a credit card that won't expire within six months. When you see "Open Television Network/klickTab $5.65" on your credit card statement, it indicates that your viewer account has reached a sufficient level for credit card processing.
About sharing channel feeds. The channel feeds are customized to your account. You could share them with anyone, but be aware that whatever is downloaded through a channel feed associated with your account will be charged to your account. The feeds are yours to share with anyone as long as you are willing to pay for what they download. Most people will want to keep their channel feeds to themselves for that reason. A feed, once shared, may be shared again and you are still responsible for all charges. Do not share feeds with anyone unless you are prepared to pay for all shows downloaded through that feed.
At any time you can log into your viewer account and see what you've been watching that hasn't yet been charged to your credit card - what's on your klickTab right now. You can also look back through your history.
We expect you to honor the content owners. They like you watching, they appreciate you. Our content owners get excited when someone really loves their work and wants to share it. But please, share the link to the content owner's page and encourage people to sign up to watch it themselves. Uploading the content to a file sharing service, like YouTube or Metacafe etc. just isn't fair, but you knew that. It's also illegal but that's not really the point. Our content owners are encouraged to price content to make it attractive. Either watch it or don't but don't take content off Open Television Network's content owners and spread it around.
You should go read the legal version of the Terms of Service here because it's assumed you've read and agreed to everything contained in the legal version, when you create your account by clicking on the "I Agree" button.
